Consignment Policy Overview

Kurvy Boutique & Thrift Store, LLC offers consignment services for gently loved high‑end designer fashion, including brands such as Fendi, Burberry, Gucci, Chanel, Versace, and D&G. Our goal is to provide customers with stylish, high‑quality pieces while helping consignors earn from items they no longer wear.

We also accept donations of non‑designer items in excellent condition to support our mission of offering Kurvy women quality, budget‑friendly thrifted fashion.

2. Accepted Items

  • Designer apparel and accessories in excellent or gently used condition

  • Non‑designer items that are clean, undamaged, and in current or classic styles

  • Items must be free of stains, odors, tears, excessive wear, or missing components

All items are evaluated for condition, authenticity, and marketability before acceptance.

3. Consignment Terms

  • Consignment period: 60 days

  • Kurvy Boutique sets the selling price based on brand, condition, and current resale value

  • Consignors receive a percentage of the final selling price (percentage determined by item category and value)

  • Payments are issued within 10 business days after the item sells

Unsold items at the end of the consignment period may be:

  • Returned to the consignor

  • Donated to Kurvy Boutique to support our thrift mission

Consignors must choose their preferred option at drop‑off.

4. Authenticity

Designer items must be authentic. Kurvy Boutique reserves the right to decline any item that cannot be verified.

Donations

We gladly accept donations of high‑quality, non‑designer clothing and accessories. These items help us provide affordable, stylish options for Kurvy women and support our community‑focused mission.

1. Drop‑Off Process

  • Items may be dropped off during business hours

  • A staff member will review each item and confirm acceptance

  • Consignors will receive a digital or printed copy of their consignment agreement

2. Pricing & Discounts

Kurvy Boutique may apply promotions or markdowns to help items sell. Consignors’ earnings are based on the final sale price after discounts.

8. Liability

Kurvy Boutique & Thrift Store, LLC is not responsible for loss or damage due to theft, fire, or unforeseen events. All items are handled with care and displayed securely.

9. Agreement

By consigning with Kurvy Boutique & Thrift Store, LLC, consignors agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

  • Schedule a drop-off.

  • We review and price your items.

  • Earn money when your items sell.

  • We are currently accepting:

    • Women's clothing (Preferred size: Plus sizes but all sizes are accepted)

    • Handbags and purses

    • Jewelry and fashion accessories

    • Shoes in excellent condition

    • Seasonal and trendy fashion items

    All items must be:

    • Clean and freshly laundered

    • Free of stains, tears, excessive wear, pet hair, and odors

    • In current style and excellent resale condition

    • Ready to be placed on the sales floor

    • Consignments are accepted by appointment or during designated drop-off hours.

    • Please bring your items neatly folded or on hangers.

    • Our staff will review all items and determine which items are accepted for consignment.

    • Kurvy Boutique and Thrift Store, LLC will determine the selling price based on brand, condition, style, demand, and current market value.

    • We strive to price items competitively to maximize the likelihood of a sale.

    • Consignors will receive an agreed-upon percentage of the final selling price of accepted items.

    • Payments will be issued according to the terms outlined in your signed consignment agreement.

    • Consignors are responsible for maintaining current contact information.

    • Items will remain on the sales floor for the designated consignment period stated in the agreement.

    • During this period, items may be discounted as part of store promotions or markdown schedules to encourage sales.

    • At the end of the consignment period, consignors are responsible for picking up any unsold items within the specified pickup window.

    • Items not claimed by the pickup deadline may become the property of Kurvy Boutique and Thrift Store, LLC and may be donated, discounted, or otherwise disposed of at the store's discretion.

  • While every effort is made to protect your items, Kurvy Boutique and Thrift Store, LLC is not responsible for loss, theft, fire, water damage, or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Kurvy Boutique and Thrift Store, LLC reserves the right to refuse any item that does not meet our quality, style, or condition standards.
